Die Intention dieser Flagge ist es, mit künstlerischen Mitteln auf einen fanatischen Fundamentalismus aufmerksam zu machen, ohne politische, religiöse oder soziale Positionen zu verletzen. Das Verbot, in Farbe zu sehen, kollidiert mit der menschlichen Physis und kann somit unmöglich befolgt werden. Das Projekt will einen aktuellen Bezug zu Organisationen herstellen, die aus religiösen Regeln willkürliche Verbote ableiten und bei Zuwiderhandlung das Töten als ritualisierten Akt zur Wiederherstellung einer göttlichen Ordnung legitimieren.

The idea behind this flag is to deploy artistic means to call attention to forms of fanaticism without offending people with sincere political, religious or social convictions. The prohibition against seeing in color collides with human physiology, and is therefore impossible to obey. The aim of the project is to establish a current reference to organizations that derive arbitrary prohibitions from religious texts and then seek to justify ritualized killing as a necessary means of restoring a divine order in the face of human transgressions.
